Construction on the Greenvale Road Bioretention Basin began on Tuesday, June 15 with tree removal activities and clearing and grubbing. The anticipated schedule includes stripping the topsoil on June 16 and 17 and then installing the storm sewer structures and pipe (likely beginning the week of June 21). Thereafter, the contractor will remove soils and install the engineered soils for the basin. Landscape restoration activities will take place after all grading work is completed. The contractor is anticipating that the project will take three to four weeks with a completion date in mid-July.
The PowerPoint presentation from the Public Information Meeting held on June 9 is included on this page and is made available so that viewers can get a better sense of what is planned for the project, including the schedule. Also, the weekly construction updates will be posted on this page so please check back every week (typically on Mondays) for any updates.
